Red Brick Inn

This was a family get away. The home is in a wonderful and quiet community. The hosts are absolutely charming. We felt like we were staying with relatives. The beds were great for sleeping. My wife and I have eight children so we had the entire house. The breakfast was great and the home is from 1850 so it had amazing character that we absolutely loved. The rates are good and I have no complaints at all. If you are looking for a quiet and nice getaway, this is it. It is also about 40 minutes away from the Grove City outlet mall if you like shopping.

We parted feeling like family. ||Of course, the accommodations were exactly as expected for this mid-nineteenth century treasure with shared bathroom and original period furniture. The home was acquired by the family in 1907 and has been maintained appropriately. Furnished simply and attractively. ||We rested very comfortably, feeling very much at home. ||A delicious breakfast with a brief tour to nearby high viewpoint of western expanse sent us happily on our way. My husband and I biked the Allegheny River Trail and the Oil Creek State Park Trail in October 2016. To our great fortune we reserved a room at the Red Brick Inn. The inn is pre-Civil War but is lovingly maintained by Donna and Eugene. This place is truly special because of the innkeeper, Donna. Donna shares the history of the house along with the surrounding farm land which is quite beautiful. The room was very quaint and the bed provided a good night's sleep. The "best" was seeing Donna in the mornings and evenings for friendly conversation. If you are visiting the PA Oil region this is a wonderful and convenient place to stay and stage your visit.

Charming quaint 19th century home. The owners Gene and Donna Best were a large part of the charm. It was a enjoyable stay and we would definitely stay again. The accommodations were exemplary. The lack of A/C may be a concern for some travelers.

There are 4 bedrooms and 2 baths, a lot of original furniture and a wonderful old flavor. The proprietress made a beautiful breakfast the next morning. The surroundings were special, forested, and farmland together.
