Red Arrow Resort

We used to love staying at Red Arrow, but the slumlord new owner has absolutely destroyed this business. We have been visiting Bull Shoals and staying at Red Arrow for many years and every year we have 4+ cabins rented. This year will likely be the last. Booked on their website 6 months in advance. All phone calls and emails to the owner went unanswered. All we got was the automated email confirmation. We had no idea how to get our room key, or if we would even have rooms. Thankfully, one of the two caretakers saw us pull up anf gave us the code to get our key. Immediately we were told that two of the other families in our group would be switching to different cabins due to issues. Our cabin was very cozy but I noticed that the master bedroom needs an electrical outlet. The deck is perfect for the morning coffee and to hear the birds sing. The maintenance guy Dan came by to welcome us and provided a few extra wash rags. Great location and close to everything.

I booked a cabin 10 months in advance via airbnb to make sure my family and I had a secured place to watch the eclipse. One month prior to our check in date, I get a notification from airbnb stating that my reservation had been canceled by the owners.. the owners response was "I need to cancel your reservation because we are selling the property. Our Apologies." ... keep in mind this is ONE MONTH away from the eclipse, so any places left to book were through the roof expensive.. So we had to cancel the airline tickets we had already purchased (of course no refund on those becasue again, I had booked 10 months in advance for this trip, assuming that they would be good hosts like all the others I had experienced on airbnb, not for a minute thinking a MONTH BEFORE they would do this!) Great hosts, clean grounds and cabins, Amazing views of Bull shoals lake, boat dock, pool and wifi. What else could you want. Our stay was perfect. Cabin 4 has the most amazing view of the lake that can not be beat and the nightly rates are just as nice. The hosts even went the extra mile to light to camp fire for us so we could roast marshmallows.

We felt right at home! Adorable, clean, and accommodating pet-friendly resort. My family and I stayed here for the weekend of the 4th and had a blast. There are options for lake view or poolside cabins and a dock / entry to the lake right down the road. The owners are so friendly and helpful! Each cabin has a charcoal grill provided, pots and pans and dish soap, and there is a huge pavilion area in the back with plenty of space and provided lawn games. We will definitely be coming back
