Randolph Rampy RV Park, Tatum NM Free Camping

Nice FREE full hookups campsite. 5 available and the surroundings are gorgeous, big spacious fields, picnic tables, play area for kids. Thank you to the City of Tatum for this park. We had been driving forever from the other side of Dallas and desperately looking for somewhere to rest. This was perfect for a night of refresh before hitting the road again.

Pulled in here at midnight, there was a cop who is set up long term here it looks like so that was really nice, it was clean everything worked it was a great place to stop. The town has really cool street signs as well. Would definitely stay here again

FREE... Easy to pull in, with 5 pull-through sites, full hookups, water, sewer, 30/50 amp, and dumpster. Our RV is a 38 ft motorhome, and we didn't have to disconnect our towed pickup. There are a couple of picnic tables and grills. Lots of grassy areas with shade trees. Posted for free 3 days stay. Adjacent is a city park with playset, covered basketball court, and a fenced ball diamond. There are bathrooms in the park, but they were locked.

decent place to stay overnight. quite, no restrooms or showers. pull thru full hook ups. only thing we didn't like the fact the sewer hook up was in the middle of the parking site. so we emptied our tanks before we left instead of running our extra sewer hoses under our trailer in front of our door. Sheriff even rode by.

We spent a quiet night in this community park. All the electrical outlets are new and functioning. A walk nearby revealed some of the town's inhabitants a pig, goats, horses, sheep, dogs and cats. A rooster crowed in the distance. All welcome sights to a former farm girl. I walked a short distance this morning and picked up bread, coffee, and fruit at the Stripes gas station. While there I was delighted to see long horn cattle being transported. Tatum is the metal art center for this part of NM so there's lots of artwork evident including the park benches on the main street. After 3 weeks of boondocking we enjoyed the electricity and could have used the dump available also.
