Ranchwood Inn Motel

Nice clean hotel. Very friendly, helpful people. Fridge and A/C worked perfect. I left my prescription medicine in room and didn’t notice until we are about hour away. I called and they went and searched for them, found them and put it in mail to me. We will definitely stay there again.

Others beware!!!! My family and I stayed here for two nights. The rooms were clean and the people were friendly. Unfortunately, when we returned late the second night, we found our bags had been opened up and gone through. Nothing of great value was taken, just my body wash! We have stayed here in the past and have never experienced this. I've never felt so violated!

Not a bad spot for the price. The room was very clean (I actually wasn't expecting it to be as clean as it was). The satellite box was a little fussy at first but I was able to get it working by adjusting the cords in the back. They even had a mini fridge & microwave - great value for the money! The only con was the lock on the door which felt flimsy (just a standard keyed lock you'd find on a bedroom door); no deadbolt & no chain style lock typical of these types of motels. Addition of a cheap chain lock (even if it only offers an illusion of safety) may be a wise investment.

When we checked in they did not speak English so we had to talk on the phone with their daughter. Then when we got in the room we put stuff in there and left to go eat. We received a phone call when we were done eating asking what we did to the cable box. We hadn’t even used the tv or been in the room and the man was so upset saying he banged on our door and called us and we were not responding to him. We wasn’t even there. I guess the box run all the rooms and it wasn’t working before we got there. Then at 7 am they beat on the door and took out there keys to see if we wanted towels. There is no do not disturb signs so no way to avoid that. Also it’s a 10:00 Check-out we went to turn in the key and wanted to talk to the lady about the deposit and so we rang the bell which said ring

I stayed there for 2 nights. The sheets smelled terrible and I requested the guy in the office to change them. He said they don't change the sheets regularly, but he and another older lady came and changed the sheets. They were friendly. Doors look like they been broken numerous times and they were very loose and unsecure. I would never stay there again.
