LOVE Rambling Pines. Our favorite campground. Staff is always friendly and helpful and very accommodating. Place is clean and beautiful. Lots of trees!!! Which is what I camp for. I don't want to be parked in a parking lot when I am camping and Rambling Pines does not disappoint. LOTS of activities too and they don't charge you for every little activity. Not very far from home, but it feels like you are a million miles away. Dog friendly. Bathrooms are dated but always clean. I actually like that they are dated, a little blast from the past. Book early early for Halloween. Best time of the year!

Really nice campground ⛺️ Clear well shaded sites—very quiet and private. Not as flat as we wanted, but good practice leveling the camper! Lots of activities, pool, putt-putt, tennis courts. All clean and well maintained. Friendly and helpful staff. Conveniently located—quick easy drive from Frederick, Baltimore, etc. for some peaceful communion with nature!

We love Ramblin Pines Camground. Everyone is very nice. They have full hookups, open year round. Nice large dog area which our guys love.

I have been camping here since I was a kid and it’s now truly a pleasure to bring my own family here. Their prices are excellent and they have nice amenities. It’s a very traditional feeling family campground with thoughtful updates. Sites are close, if you’re used to state parks but decently sized for a commercial campground. Most are fairly level and shaded, which is nice. The location is very convenient to most of Maryland and southern PA. We camp here 3-4 times a season. Halloween here is LIT!

Office help was very rude and not much help at checking. We had made a cancelation over the phone for 1 night 2 weeks before arriving because of work. Ladies at the office at checkin said sorry can't help you and we're very rude about it.I brought 2 other families that I reserved sites for in my name and you would of thought you would have thought I was trying to turn water into wine at check in . They were rude and totally confused. Also another person was paying with cash and they couldn't figure out the proper change for her. What a joke. Also the website claims to have free wifi. It's a campground hot spot that is totally worthless. Beware if you plan on staying there.
