Ramada Limited Cockeysville

This is an older hotel that is very busy, probably because of its very low rates for the area. It's a bit tired looking from the outside but the room was comfortable + the bed was excellent. Like Goldilocks excellent. The hotels surrounded by very serviceable places to eat... A great variety of eating options. It's a great deal for the money. I might make a different choice if my wife was traveling with me, or I was staying several days where comfort was more important than just getting a night's sleep before traveling home again. The staff was very helpful and pleasant at check-in.

It was easy to check in and very reasonable. The Continental breakfast is nice. The rooms are nice and clean. I love the 12:00 p.m. check out time.

​I am grateful for the kind and dedicated staff here. Though their approach to tasks like laundry (especially whitening, which differs from my personal preference for a heavy chlorine regimen) reflects different training and cultural norms, the service is certainly good enough for my current needs. ​I have a clean room, fresh air, and genuinely kind people providing the service. Given their dedication, I hope a local organization, like Habitat for Humanity or a similar community group, might offer them an operational upgrade or assistance. ​The location is convenient, with plenty of parking and easy access to I-83, a gas station, Walmart, Target, shopping centers, and pharmacies, plus many apartments nearby.

Positive: I Negative: It was filthy, had roaches, and the bathroom was dirty. Someone attempted to enter my room at 6am and I felt very unsafe. I will never stay at this place ever again.

The staff were perfectly fine. The building and rooms were not. I was given a non smoking room that had a permanent smoke odor and had smoke stains on the walls. There were mold stains in the bathroom. The electrical outlet/switch cover by the bathroom vanity was broken and exposed the electrical switches behind the cover. The towel rack in the bathroom was mounted so poorly that half of it had shifted down and it was at and angle. The air conditioner fan squealed constantly and did not cool the room. The door did not sit flush in the doorframe, and the sliding door lock was broken in a way that was indicative of someone breaking into the room. Also, the smoke detector has been covered with a plastic bag so it was non-functional. When I told the staff about these items they were courteous
