Ramada by Wyndham Ligonier

I didn't really know what to expect but the clerk at the gas station down the street recommended this Ramada. She said she likes to stay there with her daughter sometimes cuz her daughter enjoys hotels. So I get to the hotel I check in I ask the clerk at the hotel about some restaurants and she recommended the Wicked googly. I also now recommend the Wicked googly. This little town in the middle of seemingly nowhere is a wonderful diverse fun little nook in the middle of a whole lot of red. I really appreciated people's kindness and met some wonderful folks. Across from the Wicked googly by the way is a dive bar that has a legitimate mounted animal museum. I guess the original owner was a avid safariest and all of his mounted animals are in there. Highly recommend it. Back to the hotel, hah

First off, I think the previous reviews are way off for this place. We were expecting the worst when we arrived. We got there after 7pm and the place was sold out for the night. When we entered the lobby, it was a pleasant surprise. Yes, this is an older hotel, but it has great ambiance. If you like a newer appearance, then go somewhere else. The hallways and rooms were very clean. The bathroom layout was kind of weird, but it served its needs well. The breakfast was OK. It wasn’t the best, but at least it was not just a waffle iron and cold cereal. If we ever had the need to stay in the area again, we would not hesitate to go back there.

Positive: Very clean n fresh Negative: Maid in the morning pushed us for 10 check out n the sign on the back of the door clearly says 11 as we planned for a 1030 check out

Great location downtown Ligonier. |The hotel was very clean and smelled good. The room was well equipped with a small microwave a refrigerator, a safe a place to hang your clothes and the mattresses were great!

Very friendly staff and great service! Came for snowboarding at Laurel Mountain and the money was worth the stay. Highly recommend this hotel in this beautiful historic town
