Free dispersed. 2 other campers on a Monday. We camped up the hill. Used the pit toilet at next door Rainy Hill boat ramp. Can park right next to water, too.

Three nights of quiet bliss only interrupted by the moose moving thru the brush near my campsite.

Had a great time fishing with family. Didn't catch much other than a couple little catfish that ate the whole herring though.

This is not a "campground" by any means. It's dispersed camping. There is no water and the water all around is not healthy to drink even after filtering. Pit toilet is down by the boat ramp, didn't use it though. It's a beautiful and quiet spot to set up a tent. Around 8:30pm there was a car that drove up the hill, turned around, then shot once into the woods. Good thing no one else was camping around us, idiot.

Based on some of these Google reviews, we planned to camp here as part of a cycling trip during a heat wave in July. There is a small campsite just off the boat launch parking lot and right by the lake, with the pit toilets nearby. It has a small fire ring, space for a tent, some shade, and a small path to the lake. After we set up our tent we noticed the announcement board in the parking lot had a sign that clearly said "Day Use Only." Since we had arrived by bicycle, we didn't have a lot of other options, so we stayed anyway. It was beautiful and quiet, but lots of mosquitos, no running water, a good amount of trash (including broken glass), and we were a little concerned that someone would come and kick us out for staying beyond the allowed "day use" (but nobody did).
