Rainbow Ranch Lodge

Our stay at Rainbow Ranch Lodge in Big Sky was nothing short of magical. The views, the atmosphere, and especially the food made this a truly unforgettable experience. Dinner at Wild Caddis was exceptional. We had the pleasure of meeting Chef Nick, a Montana native with a background in farming, who took the time to talk with us about his journey and his approach to food. After he explained how he makes his French onion soup, I had to order it — and it was hands down the best French onion soup I’ve ever had. Truly magical. Everything we ordered was outstanding: the corn chowder, mushroom goat cheese wontons, beet salad, Caesar salad, huckleberry chicken, and the short rib — each dish was beautifully prepared and full of flavor. Breakfast was just as amazing and set the tone for the day.

We spent two nights in the "Grizzly Bear" room. Very nice, warm rooms. Great hot tub. River access and walking/snowshoeing/backcountry skiing trails just a short walk across the bridge. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The complimentary continental breakfast was absolutely fantastic! The breakfast chef, Ian, was a delight to chat with and the food was outstanding! Ian changes the breakfasts up each morning and they are truly a great way to start each day. Great location for exploring the BIg Sky area and the West entrance area to Yellowstone. Highly recommended!

This lodge was absolutely stunning. The rooms were rustic and cozy. But the view was breathtaking. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We will absolutely e back, and highly recommend the stay.

My parents are visiting from out of town. Faith took care of us and made our night so special and cozy. Thank you for everything. Food was phenomenal and my dad was raving about his desert like a child. See you again!

The property is gorgeous but it's on the main road, so there is road noise. The rooms are very well appointed with frig and microwave. The shower and sink need to be renovated. The breakfast was great but the coffee brand should be replaced. Dinner was great but prices are too high and not aligned to the area. Bed was very very comfortable!!
