Rainbow Motel

I rented a nice room and then one day the front desk came and ask me to move to a regular room? And i pay them every day then they ask me to move to another regular room. They harassed me every day to move to another room. Thats bad business.

Our room was in an open dark alley (no wall, no fence around the motel) and anyone could have smashed the door open and entered. Inside, I admit, the room was primitive but at least clean. There was no functioning hot water. My partner took a shower first: at the beginning it was lukewarm at best, but quickly turned cold. He did not take a long shower at all, to be fair. For me none came, before we went out for dinner or after we came back from it. We called the concierge and he assured he'd call someone right away and we'd have warm water early in the morning. Unfortunately that was not the case. and I skipped my shower. We reported it to the concierge again and then left for the airport. I booked through Agoda in advance, advertised as a single room, but I was given a dorm with four beds instead. I arrived at 2 a.m. to check in (because of flight delay) and realized I was assigned a bed in a dorm. It never occurred to me that a motel would have dorms. The staff didn’t speak any English, which made communication extremely difficult. I decided to stay since I just needed a place to spend the night. However, things didn’t end there. Two people were already in the room—one was asleep, and the other had the TV on, playing loud music at 3 a.m. I didn’t feel safe at all. The person eventually fell asleep, so I turned off the TV. He woke up around 6 a.m., turned the TV back on, and blasted the music again. It was one of the horrible and terrifying experiences of my life. I couldn’

DO NOT BOOK HERE. If I could give negative stars I would. I reserved a room on 11/20/24. Today on 12/24/24 Rey texts me that he gave up my room to maintenance and they cannot accomodate me after we had spoken on the phone last night and he had said my room was available and tried to get me to pay. I had said I would pay today and he texts me saying he gave up my reservation 3 days before I was supposed to check in. This motel is unreliable and the customer service is atrocious. Do not book here if you want your entire travel plans uprooted 3 days before your trip or if you want to pay 4x more for a last minute room elsewhere since this motel clearly does not care about their customers. Rainbow Motel is a secret local treasure. It’s quaint, uncomplicated, and reasonably priced. In my opinion it’s best asset is the remarkably considerate and helpful staff. Thanks guys!
