Rahi Motel and Cottages

Ok so my first review wasn't so good with this place. Although, nothing i put in my review was false and unfortunately it was all true, I have since had the opportunity to actually stay there and it exceeded my expectations. This time I am giving them 4 stars and I think I have plenty of knowledge about the place after staying there for 4 months. Thr biggest complaint is, i think they are a little overpriced, but then again (so is a $4.00 candy bar, and i still buy those, reluctantly, but I do buy them), but i didn't buy them from the Rahi, only because they don't sale them. Anyway, my stay at the Rahi was very pleasant, nobody tried to sale me drugs. Nobody shot or tried to murder me. I never ran across any prostitutes, (I wasn't exactly looking for them neither). We took this room for a 3-day fishing shack. It was all clean and new, pricing was fair, and facing the highway gave us afternoon shade with a view of the coastal slough. Nice kitchen, nice bed, fold-out sofa-cot (which the Mgr didn't tell us about on inquiry - I brought my camping cot and didn't need to use it). Two near-strangers meeting up for this trip, a door to the B/R made for a little privacy. The cottage he set us up included good parking for long kayaks on two P/Us plus bed extenders. The manager was accommodating, available, and made effort to keep us happy, breaking out a new coffee pot. Bring absolutely Everything you will need for kitchen, and don't forget the TP.

Love my room, I'm going to be living here and it's amazing so far, the manager is very helpful and the maintenance crew has been helpful as well. The rooms are fully furnished with tv and wifi, the only thing I had to buy was pots/pans, silverware and plates..

Poor to no service from management. Card key reader malfunction that lasted two weeks only way into the room was to contact office to let you in. There was not always someone available so you had to wait on them. No TV service due to issues with Direct TV for over two weeks. Sewer in room backed up where there was raw sewerage standing in the bath tub for 4 days. When reported to the manager she became indignant. Had to leave because stinch in room and unhealthy living conditions.
