Ragged Point Inn & Resort

While visiting my daughter we decided on an impromptu road trip to the coast. We found a Ragged Point in on several TikTok videos praising its beautiful location & price. So we made a resv. Wow…so grateful we did! What a charming, quaint property. We opted for the ocean front ground floor room & the view was spectacular! The room was basic but clean & cozy with a fireplace. The grounds were beautiful! We had dinner on property & it was wonderful. I hope to visit again one day.

Amazing service and even better views

Dog friendly (with additional fee) was a huge reason for booking. Staff were all great and accommodating. The restaurant is really good, particularly the dessert and drinks. The views and atmosphere are inspiring. The store has boutique sodas and candies and local gifts. Our room was clean and comfortable but a bit modest in an old school way. Not bad at all, just worth noting. Wifi is available and worked reasonably well for us while we were there however it is known to be spotty, I consider this a feature and enjoyed the time with less connectivity but worth knowing if you happen to need it. Will likely return, it is perfectly positioned for anyone taking a leisurely trip up or down the 1.

This is what I characterize as a comeback place. We had an Ocean view room and it was lovely. The beds were extremely comfortable and soft. The shower pressure was very good. The room smells very good. There's a fireplace for heat and there's a fan to cool. They have a K-Cup machine that is nice and clean. In fact, it looks brand new and they offer hot chocolate and coffees and teas. The restaurant was fantastic. Yesterday evening for dinner we ordered filet mignons and the entire meal was delicious. We also got butternut squash salad and mushroom bisque. If you have a lot of things to plug in, bring an extension cord and a surge protector because there's no plugins beside the bed other than a USB port. Other than that, this place is fantastic and I want to come back every single year!

Over all this place a 5 but the second day, the room was not as what i expected it to be. The first night the room was spacious with a fireplace and on a cliffside overlooking the ocean. It includes a refrigerator and a microwave. The front desk lady, Yvonne was so helpful and knowledgeable of our concerns. I will give her 5 excellent customer service. Will definitely come back there and highly recommended to future tourists. More fun in Ragged Point.
