Rabbit Hash River House

Martine and Janice are super host. They answered all my questions within minutes. We were a party of 10 including 3 children. Everyone felt right at home and spent some amazing time. The house was clean and spacious for everyone. The house is located in a peaceful neighborhood with spectacular view. More than anything one of us had forgotten a precious stone ring at the house and when I reached out to the host they offered to mail it to us at free of cost. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and will surely go back if we ever go to Kentucky again.

We enjoyed our stay at the Rabbit River House. It was nice and cozy but spacious to accommodate 8. The kitchen is well stocked. Beautiful scenery and the country store was really nice. We enjoyed watching the river go by. We visited The Creation Museum , and The Ark. Rabbit River House is located in between. Great location. We also spent a day in Cincinnati. We would definitely stay here again.

What an amazing house and views! Our family "borrowed" this place for family vacation, through Airbnb. Pretty central to both the Creation Museum and The Ark. Incredible views of Indiana, across the Ohio River. Outside cooking area was amazing, and the "bunkhouse" though separate from the rest of the house, is so beautiful! Deck is awesome! Entire house was clean, and well stocked with basic amenities. Good thing there's a strong phone signal at the house, because there's NONE when you leave the property! You're definitely in the middle of nowhere!

Perfect location to enjoy a peaceful stay overlooking the river and visit the Creation Museum and Ark Encounter as well as experiencing the Rabbit Hash historic district. For the three couples staying here, we appreciated all the preparations made for our stay. Communication was great and handled easily. Martine is an excellent host and the house was clean and well stocked for our stay-many extra touches with fully stocked kitchen and more. Pictures accurately depict the place.

This place is amazing!! It is so peaceful and beautiful! Everything was extremely clean and well-maintained, and even better than the pictures! Our family spent hours on the upstairs deck overlooking the Ohio River, and we didn’t want to leave! Great place to fish, hike, go for walks, or just relax! It’s tucked away surrounded by nature, but you’re only a short drive from the city for anything you need. Very easy drive to the Ark Encounter (40 minutes) and the Creation Museum (20 minutes). The hosts made sure the property was well-supplied with everything you could need! The hosts were super responsive anytime we had a question, with great communication! We even booked another stay before we left; this place was perfect for us!
