R & R Motel

Old motel - the rooms still have screen doors. Although old with some dings here and there, everything was in fine working order and very neat and clean. You can tell thde owners are diligent about maintenance and upkeep. My room had a large flat screen TV and a very comfortable queen bed. Other than a clock on the nightstand, a table and chairs, there are no other amenities in the room, which is OK for an overnight stay. Rating on comfort, cleanliness, and price, the R & R is a super value.

Stayed out in Harvey at the R&R motel for duck hunting. Perfect for a hunting trip as they had a duck cleaning station. Easy to back the trucks up to the doors and unload stuff. Will be staying there again this fall.

Needed a cheap place to sleep, the AC pumped out hot air, in the morning it was cooler outside then in my room with the AC on. Accidently left smart watch in the bed sheets, called the place, and was brushed off. Said they world talk to housekeeping. I never heard anything back. the price was higher than I expected however the cobblestone hotel was triple digits the lady at the cobblestone recommended this place because of price, in the future I'll ask if the ac works .. still upset over my watch and the fact NO ONE CARED ENOUGH TO CALL ME BACK.

The motel is so understaffed that they told us to take a key off of an unsupervised desk for the wrong (already occupied) room. They didn’t have an option for payment other than providing credit card over the phone. And someone with no staff identification opened the door to an occupied room right in front of us. We might be freezing our card this trip depending on whether this business is legit.

I stayed here with my son so he could be near the railroad and see the trains. This is an older motel, but it well kept and very clean. I would definitely stay again.
