I never miss a chance to support Quigley’s when I’m in the area. Unfortunately it is no longer the friendly store I know it to be. Twice in one day I walked into an empty store that smelled like marijuana. No employees insight. I was concerned something was amiss. I called out and didn't get a response. I walked out onto your patio and was immediately met with by an unpleasant woman with an attitude. She seemed particularly mad that I was concerned the store was empty or maybe she was mad I interrupted the drinking party. I had to asked if Quigley's were under new ownership and she snapped and said "No, Why? Do you want to buy it? It’s for sale right now. It sold for a million so I don't think you can afford it." I was speechless, paid for my food and left. I don’t usually leave bad revie
I came to the area for work and stayed at quiglys for a month and a half. It was almost $800 a month plus electricity for a spot that was full of star thistle and couldn't open the awning all the way cause of the locus trees. Washer and drier did not work, the bathroom and shower they had was disgusting even for my standards. Had a guy working for me that tried to stay in one of there cabins and the bugs were so bad he couldnt stay in it. Would not have complained till they tried to charge me a $300 power bill for 2 weeks of power. I had to argue with them for several days before the admited they over charged me, which they did finally refund me for. Afterwards when I moved out 2 weeks early, after I paid for the month they gave me the run around and did not give me a refund for the o
Nice spot on the river with a convenient store , wasn’t to busy cause they limit the numbers of guest due to COVID-19 , so the river access that is small wasn’t much used . We enjoyed getting to the water and play . There are one bathroom with shower ( only cold water) and coin operated laundromat. Very simple RV site. ( close to the road that is not much busy )
I made a 1 week reservation and left after 3 days. This place needs some TLC, only one broken washing machine, out of order, the RV park definitely not well maintained and not laid out well for large RV's, 50amp sites are all right next to the Hwy, 30amp sites next to the river and no internet reception. I will add that the store management was very helpful and friendly.
This is a place my husband has visited his whole life, but recently was bought by a new owner and it is just jaw dropping‘ly gorgeous here now. The owner was so nice from the moment we walked in the door, and thanked us for stopping in. Go in for a Red Bull, a home made piece of pie or some really cute shirts and sweaters. Welcome to the area and thankyou for revitalizing this awesome store, we will continue to stop in on our way to Happy Camp.
