Quick Stop Motel

I had limited options, and this place had OK reviews and was cheap so I booked a room.When I arrived, I thought it was abandoned. Gate halfway across driveway, then cones partly blocking driveway, junk piled around, and lawn a mess. Nothing like the pics here on Trip Advisor. The lady who checked me in was nice got checked in quickly. The room was relatively clean, linens clean, bed actually fairly comfortable, and walls appear to have been recently painted - still masking tape on the heater. I've been in worse. Coffee pot in the room, but no coffee. Very small, old, and very basic motel. With some work and cleaning up outside, it could be a great little quaint, retro motel. Right not it's just old and small. To top it off, there were a couple stray cats in the parking lot begging for

😊: A good peaceful stay,, in a clean room. Comfortable enough. Wonderful owners,, helpful and serviceminded. Wifi worked great. The motel sits by its own,, in the countryside, nothing nearby. There is a certain charm to that.. 😢: I can imagine the heavy truck traffic on I-5 and right outside being bothersome to some people,, or maybe it was just me. Not a negative,, but there is nothing nearby as far as stores goes. You have to travel a handful of miles to the north,, exit 119..

I was pleasantly impressed. I would stay here again. The price was very reasonable given this is an older motel near the freeway. It's not close by any stores but it was quiet in my room, it was clean, the shower was hot, and the folks in the office were very friendly and helpful. (They even loaned me a charger and cable because I'd lost mine.) Given there aren't very many options in this location (everything is in Roseburg or Myrtle Creek), this was the perfect option for my planned route.

Me and my two teenagers ended up with a blown out tire at this motel at approximately 9:30 at night so not too late anyways long story short these people would not help us literally all I needed was just a Jack I just needed a Jack to help Jack the car up and they had one and he told me he had to work at 3:00 and he could not help us. Really im shocked at all the people that just drove on by and didn't offer to help. Karma is real and I hope these people get there's.

Honestly I enjoyed my stay here. Yes, the room is old. No, the room is not a palace fit for a king. But the water is hot, the bed is clean, and the prices are superb. I had no issues and the person at the front desk was very easy going.
