Quality Inn Wilkes-Barre near Arena

I stayed here several times before and enjoyed my stay once again. Front desk staff were all very courteous and polite. The lobby/breakfast area was remodeled since my last stay and it looks fantastic. There is an area where you can purchase snacks/beverages and pay for them at the front desk. I like the hardwood floors in the room. Very comfortable bed; mini-fridge and microwave are always appreciated. Excellent water pressure in the shower and the back of the shower wall contained plastic containers for shampoo and conditioner, which I have been seeing more of in hotels. My room faced the interstate but traffic noise wasn't an issue. It was very quiet during the night as well. Breakfast available from 6:30 AM - 9:30 AM. I would suggest leaving the butter packets on the counter

THE BED IS AS HARD AS A BRICK. the rest of the hotel is lovely.The staff is fantastic.But this bed is unbelievable.My hips, my neck, my back.My shoulders, my body is killing me.And i'm sorry, but I can't stay here anymore.This is crazy. It's almost twelve thirty in the morning and I can't go back to sleep and i'm exhausted.This isn't fair😡😡😡😡😡😡😡

Although the service was good ultimately it is the responsibility of the corporation to allow each hotel to maintain the standards. The sink was slow draining in the room, the USB port did not work, the cover to the air conditioning unit was broken off as well as one bed being way to soft and the other hard as a rock. The location and price were convenient and good and we felt safe. The breakfast was nothing but a carb overload and the little packs of cream cheese was the only protein. The orange juice was certainly not orange juice and the coffee was like dishwater.

We love this hotel. We've been staying here for years. Clean, safe, good parking, good location. Front desk is excellent! So friendly and helpful.

This is a typical 2 star hotel. Low price (compared to others) means low quality (they should rebrand to Low Quality Inn). Here are the good things: The plumbing had high pressure and hot water. Good heating and air conditioning. Electrical systems worked. Fast and easy check in. Location. Nice TV. Fridge and microwave. Here are the bads: Intrusive lighting comes through the curtains and doors. Makes it hard to sleep. Noise everywhere at all times, which also makes it hard to sleep (key takeaway here is I didn't sleep well). Loud footsteps above me. You can hear even whispers in the adjacent room, so of course I hear them talk, snore, and other things. The adjacent room door is such a bad design. 1 inch gap below the door is enough room for someone to take a peak at me. Hard wood floors, s
