Quality Inn Surfside Myrtle Beach

An older Quality Inn but nicely done, staff always friendly and helpful. Beds are comfortable and fluffy pillows. Stayed many times due to location and friendly staff. Pool is always clean and well kept. A ten minute nice pace walk to ocean or 3 minute bike ride. Love it and will come back

Always room for improvement. The room was fine, no problems there. Check in and check out, I can't find any problems there either. The breakfast left something to be desired. After reading reviews, I expected a hot breakfast. All there was, was a cold continental breakfast. Not everyone likes waffles and sugared pastries. Otherwise it was fine for the one night business stop.

We almost slept in the car! This place is disgustingly maintained. Filthy carpets. Musty and moldy in the room. The carpet was damp. Dehumidifier in the room did nothing. The health department should close this dump down! The owner, Mrs. Patel, was disinterested in helping us get into another room. Never ever again will I stay in this hotel chain.

Despite having done the reservation with a month, the clerk told me it was no longer available and changed my room, up until that point everything was alright, clean bedroom and bathroom, we left our bags inside and went out. When we came back like at 11 pm we noticed a heavy smell of cigar smoke coming from the barthroom vent that spread all throughout the unit. I asked the night shift clerk to please change my room but he said that we couldn't do that. It was hard for my wife and me get to sleep because we are non-smokers. Also breakfast can be a little more varied than just pancakes and coffe.

My original reservation was for Sunday 10/26/25 through Wednesday 10/29/25. I informed the front desk my business trip was cut short and I would be checking out a day early on Tuesday 10/28/25 (and did check out on 10/28/25). I was told the "manager" would not change my reservation and deduct a day off of my bill. I actual booked and paid for two rooms, one for me and one for my business partner. My Confirmation #: 80886974. I will not stay at this hotel again.
