Quality Inn & Suites Montebello - Los Angeles

This was by far the most disappointing hotel experience we’ve had. The *only* thing this property has going for it is the outer building and reception area — they look decent. Unfortunately, that’s where the positives end. The room was absolutely pathetic. The bathroom was dirty, poorly maintained, and lacked even the most basic amenities — no shampoo, no conditioner, nothing. There weren’t even laundry bags provided. For a hotel, these are bare minimum expectations. Hospitality was non-existent. Zero warmth. Zero effort. While booking, we specifically added a note clearly stating that we are vegetarians and listed our allergies. Most hotels are proactive — they either email after booking or ensure basic vegetarian options like bread, butter, fruits, milk, or cereals are available. We

The staff was the highlight, very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was amazingly well organized and clean area. The place need renovation, however. Hot water took long time to start; the drain was not working properly. The bathrooms were very small.

Quality Inn stays true to their Name: Quality. Staying at this clean, spacious, welcoming hotel was the best choice. Citlaly was extremely helpful from reserving to checking out. Citlaly made us feel like we mattered as guests and went above expected service. The staff was friendly and welcoming. Laughed and smiled were present at all times. The rooms were clean and spacious. It has a clean smell and you can tell they do care about the cleanliness of this building. The lobby is lovely decorated and the Christmas tree does not dis point. |It is family friendly and would definitely stay here again.

The hotel has a beautiful front lobby and dining room that feel like a throwback to another time, very Marilyn Monroe–era Hollywood charm. One of the standout features is the full restaurant on-site, which is open on Tuesdays and Saturdays—a rare and pleasant surprise. Breakfast is served to you, not just set out buffet-style, and when you’re traveling, that extra level of care makes a big difference. My experience here is great so far. The staff is nice. Juan, in particular, is wonderful. Room is clean and comfortable. They do have truck parking in the back. About 16 spaces and if you're bobtail, you can park across from those in regular spaces. You get a pretty good breakfast. I'm not sure what hotel it was before Quality Inn, but the building looks like it's been here for decades. You can tell some updates were done. The only thing I would suggest is putting USB charging ports in the rooms.
