Quality Inn & Suites - Marlin

The check in was easy, the clerk friendly. The room, a suite with kitchenette. Looked run down, and 30 years old, with no maintenance. The carpet was reasonably clean, everything else, was really not. When I felt something poking me in bed, I pulled the sheets, and there were nail clippings in bed. The mattress was fantastic, the pillows not so much. The refrigerator was reasonably clean inside, outside for sure not. The toilet seat had one broken bolt, so a danger to sit on, and made my wife nearly take a fall. The very thin and hard towels, were uncomfortable, but clean. The bathroom was reasonably clean. The bathroom in the lobby was locked because it was out of order. The breakfast room was at least 90 degrees, and no airco was on, or working anywhere downstairs in lobby area. So very

This Property is a very nice place to stay. The property is clean and the rooms are very nice and clean. They have a nice breakfast every morning. The clerks at front desk do everything possible to accommodate you. I have a great stay every time I'm in Marlin Texas.

The facility was nice, breakfast was ok but didn't last long. I inadvertently left my pajamas and called twice and asked if I paid to have them sent to me could they. Both people i talked to said they works check with housekeeping but never returned my call...😪 They were very nice silk pajamas.

Location easy to get in and out from. Grass surrounding the building in some areas need cleaned up for glass, especially when traveling with dogs. Sofa needs replaced, extremely soft and dirty. No wash clothes in bath. Only replaced towels daily. No bed changed or even made. Trash was emptied every day. Staff was simply there not all that friendly. Bathroom off lobby not working at the end of our stay. Lobby was clean. The windows need cleaned in front of building for a more welcoming feel.

I’m giving this hotel one star due to an unpleasant overall experience. The hotel had a strong, horrible smell that made my stay uncomfortable. I also had to wait about 20 minutes in the lobby because there was no one at the front desk. On my second night, my room was not cleaned, which made me question the cleanliness of the room in general. I do not recommend this hotel and will not be staying here again.
