Quality Inn & Suites Corpus Christi Beachside

Stayed Feb 2026. This hotel is a two star at best. I didn't expect a great hotel as it was not expensive but the disappointment was that the amenities listed were much below what was advertised or not existent. The stock photos show clean and somewhat modern rooms and facility, but the place and rooms are in poor condition. the hotel staff appears to be the young lady at the front desk. She was nice but cant do all the work by herself. We get to the room and there are no towels, no soap, no shampoo and no TV remote. I thought this was just an oversight of the cleaning crew but other guest said it was the same for them. The hotel list that breakfast is included but we went down to eat and expecting just basic things but there was nothing but sliced white bread and two flavors of kool-a

Worst hotel experience I have had. First they try to put me in a cheaper room than I paid for. When I check in they tell me the WiFi and televisions do not work, but will be fixed in a few days. I stayed for a week and it was never fixed. I asked several different times, and they just kept saying it should be fixed soon. I later looked at reviews and going back four months ago, the internet and televisions didn’t work for other people. So that means the hotel staff has been lying to its customers for who knows how long. The room was dirty and so was the hotel. The water went out for a day and a half. I don’t understand how this place is even still in the choice hotels franchise.

We really enjoyed staying at Quality Inn & Suites Corpus Christi. Even though it was Valentines Weekend and romance abounded, the hotel was pretty quiet; the waves of the bay creating an aquatic ambience. While breakfast on Saturday was abundant, breakfast on Sunday was a bit limited. I don't select lodging based on breakfast extravagances and I always bring my own coffee supplies so Sunday morning wasn't a huge deal. Both the room and the public areas of this hotel were very clean and orderly. The courtyard and pool area were tidy. The room furniture and pool deck furniture were in good repair. The swimming pool water was crystal clear and free of debris. The landscaping was under control, with the plants thriving and well cared for. This hotel was a good place to stay while in Corpus

Positive: You get what you pay for. The only upside was the location, and the beds were decently comfortable. Negative: I purchased a pool view room and instead was given a courtyard view room along with charged unauthorized charges. There were no towels in the room, people were rude, they did not abide by the posted rules and the rooms could definitely use some work.

I only gave two stars because the rooms werent very clean. There was hair still in the shower. The carpets werent vacuumed very well. The fridge, coffee maker and microwave were so dirty. The front desk had one person working and she was out checking on rooms too so another lady and I waited a good 20 minutes or so to get checked in. There were no towels in my room. The location was perfect! You had straight access to the beach, restaurants and gift shops.
