Quality Inn & Suites Alma I-40

Clean rooms. But bathroom fixtures were definitely in need of replacement. The tub surface was chipped. The shower head assembly was plugged up with lime/calcium. The sink counter was ok but obviously dated. The desk clerk was very helpful and friendly. The “hot breakfast” included rubbery to hard round “eggs”. Tiny little muffins. Decent coffee and sausage gravy and sausage patties that were quite dry and flavorless. The “Orange juice” was neither Orange nor Juice. It was more like Tang (the astronaut drink). It’s ok for a place to stay for a night and was reasonably priced I guess. We would likely look for another place to stay in the future.

If you have a service animal or pet, steer clear of this dump. I was put in a normal room with my wife and 2 young daughters to begin with. It was OK, not nice but not terrible. Once we were settled in the front desk clerk came to the room and told us we had to move to a different room. Even though they claim to allow dogs apparently it is only in the smoking rooms of the motel in the back. She was very short and I would say rude but I think its just her culture to speak and act as she did. English was not her first language and the United States of America was obviously not where she was born and raised. This motel out back was by far the dirtiest, most run down, disgusting hotel/motel I've stayed at in 20+ years, even the towels had crap on them. We "slept" in our clothes on top of the

This is a nice place to stay. It is just off the interstate and a little hard to get into but the rooms are really nice. There is a cracker barrel within walking distance.

Would I stay here again? Yes. Was everything perfect? No. I have never had a 'perfect' hotel experience, but it was rather good at this location. Attentive staff. Quick check-in. Not perfect but clean bathroom, plumbing in good working order. Comfortable bed. Decent breakfast amenities. I rarely use the TV. I do not give a top score of '10' or 5 stars very often, here or anywhere else. It 'waters down' its meaning. I have previously recommended this hotel. It's been a good stay for me each time (I've stayed here 4-5 times).

This day beyond other days was good. The last time I stayed. I got sick and the reason...I can't stand cigarette smoke because it makes me sick even if it's in the environment. They have a machine that supposedly clears the air of it but...I could still smell it but...it was my fault because I figured the machine worked. It did what it was supposed to do but...my allergy is really sensitive to smoke... again which will make me sick. Today...this day was good. The air was clean...the night sleep has always been good... comfortable mattress and customer service is always good. I do recommend this hotel... just let the know how serious your health conditions are and i know for a fact... they will accommodate. A good plus for me...the water drain out as it should... correctly
