Quality Inn - Storm Lake

I appreciate the pet friendly hotel and the fact that the pool is reopened. But, our room smelled really musty. Also the toilet stopped flushing I'm the middle of the night. We had to pour buckets of water down it to flush. And we had to fill the tank with water. It sounded like it was running all night but the tank was empty. There was also no healthy breakfast available before 8am. Only a few bagels. Having some protein would be beneficial. I know people get busy but upon checking in and out I had to dial the phone to get someone to the front desk. But, they were friendly and helpful once they got there. I decided to use a bathroom in the main hallway of fof the pool and there want any toilet paper. So, there is room for improvement. Thank you.

The The gentleman who worked the night that I checked in was a very helpful polite person, The next day, the female employee was pretty rude. She didn’t even come out of the office to talk to me. I still don’t even know what she looks like. And she told me something different than the gentleman last night about the pool. See I only get motel rooms to try their pool and their breakfast. I couldn’t try the pool last night and the maintenance sign has been put on it again today so I can’t try it today either. Other things that I liked about this place: washer and dryer and detergent on site. The rooms still had a small binder with info about the hotel and its surroundings (I don’t see them much anymore and i was happy) that made me smile. Dylan was very friendly and welcoming. He was very polite and helpful. It was a nice stay for our sleep for our one night. The only thing we wish was that the pool was a little warmer. My 8 year old didn’t mind, but the rest of didn’t brave it.

Was here with our dogs to go hunting for a long weekend. Very pet friendly! Poop bags available around the perimeter of the property. Booked the King Suite, which ended up being totally unexpected at a chain hotel like this. It was more like a ski lodge room! High ceilings and beams, very spacious, and a humungous jacuzzi. Very comfortable. The staff handily assisted with some glitches, and were extremely helpful and friendly throughout our stay. Shout out to Chrissie and Henry, who made our stay extra pleasurable!

Checked in later around 8pm. Proceeds to tell us the King Suite we booked a month in advance is unavailable. Girl was nice working the front desk, didn’t give her a hard time I know it’s probably above her pay grade. Downgrade us to a double double bed. Room had clean fabrics but smells musty as hell like water damage. Toilet had old piss stains all over it. I guess for $89 it was a place to sleep and worked out. Wouldn’t recommend staying here with any other intent. Haven’t had the breakfast yet, it looked promising but I’ll update my review in the morning after we’ve had it. Don’t know if that belgian waffle is worth adding a star after the rest of this crap. It’s 2025 quit overbooking your King suites buddy. Edit: Breakfast was alright.
