Quality Inn Smyrna

Positive: Very clean, quiet. Negative: The refrigerator in our room needed defrosted. (I did inform staff of this.) Nice breakfast, but no fruit (fresh or otherwise).

Nice hotel, not far from Dover Downs Casino. Customer service was okay, kinda dry. Rooms clean but bed on a metal frame that made noises, but I slept well. Close to Food Lion and Dollar store. I would stay again.

The front desk staff was very friendly and accommodating when we checked in as well as when I requested extra towels and pillows. We arrived on a Friday and left on a Sunday. Our room wasn’t cleaned in between. There were stains on the pillow cases and blankets. Both blankets had what seemed to be sharpie marking the blankets with a box and check mark. The trash can had a hair net in it and hair in the sink. The shower curtain seemed old and stained. Three of us stayed in the room but only had 2 bath towels in the bathroom which is why we asked for more for our 2 night stay. The vending machines had barely anything in them, with the credit card option taped off and only takes cash. The orange juice in the morning came out of the machine as straight water. This hotel is blah! I booked for 9/17 & 9/19. On 9/17, upon check in I was advised of a $100 incidental fee (that wasn't mentioned at the time of booking). When I got to my room (206) there were only 3 working tv channels. The corners of the bathroom were extremely dirty, and there was an X written in black sharpie on my comforter.||On 9/19, when I checked in the attendant was trying to double charge me as I had already paid in advance. This time I was charged $75 for incidentals (there is no consistency with this fee). This hotel is in dyer need of an update, all decor is outdated, they did not have any ISB ports. DO NOT STAY HERE. I stayed for one night paid through a third party. They charged a $50 incidental that I'm fighting to get back. They are stating because I checked out late. Nowhere did it state there was a fee for a late check out nor did any of the staff notify me of this. They gave me no receipt for this unauthorized charge. To top it off the room was dirty, the TV made an awful sound when turned on, a used washcloth was in the bathtub. And looking at different reviews they seem to do this sort of thing a lot.
