Quality Inn Shepherdstown

Our stay at this hotel truly exceeded our expectations. Despite of cheap price, we were impressed by clean rooms, variety of options at breakfast with spacious seating in the morning. There is ample parking, front desk staff was welcoming and location is great for visiting shepardstown and Harpers ferry.

The room was excellent and nicely updated. The furnishings were beautiful and very clean. We loved having the bigger refrigerator and freezer. The breakfast was not huge, but adequate, and we left full. The reason for a lower rating is that the wifi was out (which I understand isn't your fault), but no one bothered to let us know when we checked in. Because it was out, there was no TV service or wifi to connect to.

The hotel was close to restaurants and shopping in Shepherdstown and room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was mediocre. When checking out I was nor asked if I wanted a receipt and also whether the incidental charge had been removed from my credit card.

I couldn't sit on the edge of the bed. Bed too high... hard to get in and out of. Hard water. Cheap plastic drinking glass. No ice machine. TV remote was difficult to figure out. No streaming channels available. Mix up when I checked in. I made the reservation on Oct 29 for 3 nights. When I checked in, the reservation was only for one night. And I think I was overcharged as a result. Overall, not a satisfactory visit.

Clean- and new rooms. Bright lights,easy to set preferred temps. Seems quiet the 2 times I stayed there. Helpful front desk staff, especially Hope.
