Customer Reviews
I have stayed at this property several times during the past few years. John, Front Desk Agent was very nice, courteous, extremely professional, informative, and friendly upon my arrival. He provided me with a genuine smile and a very warm and welcoming demeanor- And not a, "Why are you here?" disposition. Upon my arrival, he obtain the necessary information, got me quickly processed, and checked-in. John was happy to help- He treated and addressed me as a valued customer and most of all as a human being! The property is clean and well maintained. The rooms are very clean and everything is in good condition and working order. The rooms are comfortable and quiet. Although, there are other hotel properties available, I will generally drive 60 minutes out of my way to come to this location b
The hotel was fine. The room was clean the lobby was nice. This is an older hotel that was renovated and not entirely well. The TV in the room was smaller than I have seen in any room since flat screens were invented but it was still OK. I would stay there again if I were in the area.
The room and Building were clean, update and comfortable. The free breakfast was a nice bonus and very good. The only thing I was not happy about was the amount of time it took to check in . We were the only ones there and despite having reservations we stood and waited for at least 20 minutes.
Apparently I had reserved a queen sized bed, which was more like a twin bed. When I asked the women checking me in if I good get a king size bed for my wife and myself, I was told that the hotel was sold out and there were no such rooms available.,, when we returned later that night (around 9pm), the parking lot was not even close to being full, and the next morning, there were very few cars in the parking lot. In addition, the bathroom which we were in had the grout from the floor tiles coming apart and laying loose on the floor. This hotel is very old and outdated, you would think that the front desk staff would do everything possible to accommodate a returning guest, as I was. The only reason I stayed there was to save a few dollars - but it's not worth it.
I'm still confused as to how this could get an 8.2 rating. The room smelled like wet dog fur. How does housekeeping leave it like that? Seriously, 8.2? The staff was kind enough but they didn't have another room to give us. The bed was comfortable. The pillows were comfortable. The chair was horrible. It felt like you were sitting on concrete. A mere suggestion of padding. The TV was very old and slow and did not allow streaming from my phone. Very limited free breakfast.
