Quality Inn Near Joint Base Andrews-Washington Area

I’ve rarely ever posted a negative review. The person at the front desk seemed like one of the most personable people at check in. Currently the rooms next to me are slamming doors and playing loud music and having loud conversations. I have to be at work at 7 in the morning and it’s 2:34 am and still haven’t been able to fall asleep. The phone in the room doesn’t work and the front desk phone isn’t being picked up. I had to call reservations to lodge a complaint since I can’t reach anybody else. I once played videos from my phone and was knocked on my door at a La Quinta and was told to lower it. I immediately put on headphones and apologized, not realizing it was that loud. I definitely would not play anything at 2 in the morning.

The Rodeway Inn was a pleasant experience for me. The rooms are quite large with large desks and cushioned chairs. Each room has a flat screen tv with a microwave and mini fridge. Understand that it is an older building so don't expect things to be perfect. Contrary to some other reviews, the rooms are kept quite clean daily by a great staff. The manager of the establishment is a very pleasant and attentive person. Alex who works at the front desk is extremely helpful and willing to go the extra mile, when appropriate. It's sad that guests stay at a motel/ hotel and contribute to damaging property, misuse of the room being unclean and being loud and unpleasant. This is a no frills hotel, if you are simply looking for a place to sleep at night...this will get the job done for cheap. The staff was VERY friendly, though it took 3 rooms while checking in until we found a room that didn't have cigarette burns through the sheets, a working air conditioning unit, stains on the sheets, crumbs in the bed, etc. Cleanliness was definitely not this hotel's strong point. And please understand I don't expect a 5 star hotel at a 2 star price... but I do expect for it to be clean and the air conditioner to be working. Again, the staff was very friendly, but cleanliness doesn't seem to be a goal... which is sad.

Positive: Peaceful Negative: Walls need better fixing , (wall paper ) lamps need upgrading , dresser drawers need replacing. Internet need better, continental breakfast needs be better and upgrade for guest be pleased.. pillows need be replaced

This has been the best stay EVER, especially with the help of ALEX! His customer service is excellent & I never had a bad experience. Alex always makes sure our visits are exceptional & I always have a great time.
