Quality Inn Mullins - Marion

First room they gave us had wet carpet, the shower handle was unattached from the fixture, and the toilet would barely flush. The staff was amazing and got us to another room. The other had the smell of mildew as well and the tv stand was busted at the bottom with mold growing on it. In my honest opinion the staff were extremely friendly and accommodating but whoever owns that location is more worried about the money than actually accommodating guest

This hotel is overpriced for the quality or lack thereof. Offered amenities are non existent or bare minimum. Wifi doesn't work anywhere but the lobby and as an ongoing issue of not being available in rooms, with so many options to fix, is unacceptable. Fixtures seem to be original and showing rust and peeling. Refrigerator wouldn't stay cold. Jacuzzi didn't work. Breakfast was the same minimal food everyday and is the only hotel breakfast ever in my 30+ years of travelling not to have fruit. Ice machine provides ice with "extra" pieces of fuzzy stuff.Bringing your own Lysol and air freshener are necessary to combat the muskiness of the room. My wife and i had reservations to stay the night there on August 31. We arrived and checked in, had not went to the room as of yet went to get something to eat. We came back to the room checking the room bathroom looked clean. Then my wife pulled the bed covers back. and there was a bed bug on the sheet. We caught it in a piece of paper and took it to the front desk to show it to the desk staff. We asked for our money back and the desk manager said that her manager would have to handle it the next day... We have stayed there before and had no problems. We left there and could not find any lodging anywhere so we slept in our vehicle at Kroger in Myrtle Beach... I hate to say it but we won't be staying in Mullins anymore

A reasonably price stay. A very quiet night, other friendly guests, very professional staff checking in and checking out. The staff looked disappointed that we checked out early, but it had nothing to do with with hotel stay. The only thing I did not like, were those little bed pillows. Tell your hotel staff and house keeping, to keep up the good work.
