Quality Inn Hackettstown - Long Valley

Ok so I usually don’t leave reviews for a hotel. I thought this was gonna be a crappy room. I paid 200 and the room was super clean and had a jacuzzi. Prth at the front desk was actually very helpful and I would honestly recommend this place. If you think this is a fake review check my other reviews . I was honestly happy and surprised at the whole experience. Ask for room 101 it’s nice and very affordable!

the front desk staff lack customer care training, and have poor language skills. To be specific: 1. the phone message alert was blinking when i arrived, and is still blinking. When i alerted the front desk when i got into the room they indicated there was no message for me - that the alert was for a previous guest. When i asked to have the alert removed i was told they could not. I asked every new attendant to have this resolved and they all indicated they could not. One suggested i disconnect the phone, and another hung-up on me when i suggest they make an effort to the learn how to resolve this. 2. The toilet seat would not stay in a raised position. I had to hold it up during use, a very poor practice. The seat appears to be designed this way, not a malfunction. 3. No fruit during break

I had a really good experience at the Quality Inn. The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was clean and comfortable, and everything worked well. The breakfast was nice and the location was convenient too. Overall, it was a pleasant stay and I’d definitely come back again.

The door does not close without pushing it after you leave the room. The shower tub faucet dripped all night. The sink is ridiculously close to the faucet and there is almost no counter space. The lighting in the bathroom is poor. The pillows are hard and small. The steam iron did not function well. The breakfast hard boiled eggs were raw, even the whites were liquid. There yogurt had a gritty texture as if it had been frozen and thawed. The things I liked were the large room and the large freezer.

The service and ease of everything was great. The room itself just had broken items, E.G. the coffee maker was missing a piece to be functional, the bathroom door lock had screws falling out of it and couldn't lock, the ironing board malfunctioned, simple things, but easy things that made the stay a little less enjoyable.
