Quality Inn Eastman

it was close to my relative's house which was a plus; staff was nice/pleasant. bed is absolutely comfortable. the only down fall is that the rooms were dusty, could not use the dresser because the dust was thick, the building is old so some updates are needed; and there was small selection for breakfast. good room for the price. FYI its next to train tracks and train goes by about 10/1030 pm at night.

The shower didn’t work, and when I reported it, staff told me to “pull harder.” I did—without breaking it—and it still didn’t work. The so-called “hot breakfast” was a joke: broken coffee pot and almost no food. The gym was unusable because the treadmills were broken. To top it off, there was a loud cookout in the back of the parking lot until around 10 PM. Not exactly what you expect when you’re paying for a hotel stay. Multiple advertised amenities didn’t function. Would not stay here again.

Check-in was easy. Staff was able to arrange a ground floor room when requested. Room was spacious and clean, though a bit dated. Curtains would not close all the way, so we clipped them shut. Not a big deal. A/C worked great and was quiet. Water in the bathtub very difficult to turn on. Had to put all your weight with both hands into pulling the knob out. When it did pull out, it was loud. Had family staying in room directly behind us and they mentioned they could hear it. Grounds were very clean and well maintained. Breakfast in the lobby was standard each day. A choice of eggs, meat, pastries, waffles, cereal, milk, juices and coffee. Service has been great in the past but this time the room smelled like there was a dog in the room and it was not cleaned and pillow cases smelt like they was not changed. The vanity has something stuck on the counter that was hard to remove. The Hotel sign says Hot breakfast there is no hot breakfast anymore just carbs, some fruits that looked old.

Overall, the hotel was very nice. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The only problem we had was that shower was extremely difficult to turn on and the floor of the shower seemed a bit stained. When we tried to call for assistance, the phone in the room did not work. We used our cell phone instead.
