Quality Inn Bloomington Near University

Dated but clean, with very friendly staff. Overall a great value for the price. The pool was a comfortable temperature and a nice size. The hot tub works but could definitely use a good scrub. Nothing fancy, but solid if you’re looking for an affordable, decent stay.

Our car broke down on the way to our vacation destination. We were able to make it to this hotel and they offered us a room at a great price. Breakfast options were good. The staff was amazing and very flexible with us. Clean rooms, comfy beds!

Katia and Julie make us feel like we are "home". It's good to have a personal relationship with the staff and it always feels good to come back. We've been at this hotel now for six years. Booked this motel because we were going to a wedding. The wedding party had a block of rooms at the Comfort Inn, but checked to see, and rooms were $94. This motel the Quality Inn with senior rate, plus being prepaid for a King Accessible room was a total of $67.69. The lady was very nice and friendly. We had no problem checking in early. She told us to let her, or whoever was working if we needed anything. This morning, she asked us how the wedding went, since the ceremony was outside in the cold a d snow. Breakfast buffet was okay, eggs could have been a little warmer, but the maple cinnamon waffles were wonderful

The heat did not work in the room, so it was cold when we returned after being gone all day. We went to check out the hot tub to warm up, but it was green and look like stuff was floating in the water. The bottom of it and the pool have black stuff on the bottom. It was really gross and looked liked it hadn't been serviced in a very long time. The walls are thin and you could also hear absolutely everything in the hotel. When doors close it sounds like they are being slammed. The beds were squeaky with every toss and turn. I was not going to move rooms or they to find a different hotel and midnight, but we definitely will not return, or recommend it to anyone. The place does not seem well taken care of. Do not waste your money.
