Quality Inn

This is a very nice and clean place to stay. It's really quiet, I thought for sure my loud kids would bother someone, but thankfully our neighbor understood kids are loud. The staff are extremely nice and helpful. It's a great place to stay. They also have a little breakfast in the morning. Positioned close by many food options and shops.

The staff on site was excellent and very friendly. However, the online reservation was a complete disaster! I booked the room for 2 nights, planning to spend the holiday weekend visiting my daughter who lives in Barbourville. Having stayed at this hotel NUMEROUS times in the past, since my daughter went to college right down the street and graduated then stayed locally. I SPECIFICALLY asked if the exterior pool was open so we could enjoy the pool, which was typical when visiting. Upon arrival was told the pool was closed and had been closed ALL YEAR due to the possible renovations to the BW which is now Quality. This literally DESTROYED our plans for the holiday weekend and I was forced to try to make some sort of last minute changes which was nearly impossible due to be a long weekend HOL

Positive: Location near the funeral home where we were going. Negative: The desk clerk was hard to understand. Our tv did not work and he tried for 30 minutes to have it reconnected with the service, after that he asked me to call the service provided to see if they help me get it connected. I told him I would not. F

Roaches and dirty floors! We killed 3 roaches in our room and found several more in our personal belongings while unpacking hours later at home. So very disappointed and disgusted. Now I have to have my suitcases, clothing, and probably my home treated for roaches. I told the front desk when we checked out and they said they had the rooms sprayed a week ago. Apparently not very well. Also the floors were filthy. The bottoms of our feet were black after walking barefoot in the room. On a positive note, the bed was comfortable and the staff was friendly, but I will sleep in my car next time I visit this area.

Inexpensive, basic, clean motel. Ask to be on 2nd floor in back of motel. Comfortable beds, clean linens. Had trouble with key lock but was given another room.
