Wow, just WOW! This place is absolutely Beautiful!!! However tje one thing i was not so crazy about is that everyone is so packed in together that there is absolutely NO privacy between camp sites. But aside from that I enjoyed my time visiting my Mom & her Husband. The beach was beautiful, the restrooms/showers were very clean, and over all our visit was amazing!! I definitely will be making another visit very soon, & maybe, just maybe I can convince my husband to go camping for a week or just the weekend next summer!!
We had such a wonderful stay at this campground! So quiet during the week.. busy but not crazy on the weekends. Great swimming! Next year we hope to bring our boat!||The manager Kim was fabulous and accommodating. She had activities planned for all ages, and always has a smile!||PamC.
I like this campground, but it has many needs to get a great review. Starting with the road into the campground. It's horrible. Full of potholes and mud when raining. Brush growing in on the sides making passing an oncoming vehicle impossible without dragging brush down the sides of your camper. Bathrooms have two toilets that doors will not lock and at times backed up. Has showers also. Camp sites are tight and close together. Large pine trees encroach all lots. Branches fall frequently. Most lots are taken by seasonal renters. Has a nice beach, horse show pits, pavilion, game room, playground. Has a sewer dump and a portable dump service that comes around. Drainage is horrible. When raining water runs through all lots and some get flooded. On-site management, nice people but overwhelmed
Our first time camping here and we love it! Kim in the office is great, the beach area is very nice and the views on the water are beautiful, & the facilities are clean and convenient! It has many seasonal sites but everyone is extremely friendly. Lots of activities for children and great fishing here also! There is a boat launch also which is super convenient. We will continue to camp here for sure!
Was going to take my boys fishing and kayaking, but it's so overcrowded with campers and just looks like a nasty, cheap trailer park. Doesn't look even half as nice as the picture that's posted here on Google of the place. We ended up not fishing or kayaking, and we won't be back to try it again. The place really needs to be cleaned up to look better.
