About a 45 minute drive from Crater Lake NP. The grounds are nice and there's a comfy wrap-around porch. Historic inn. No elevator. My room was very small, difficult to move around, limited places to put things down. The room was rather dark and poorly lit. There was no television - but I like that. Quiet - but after the restaurant music was turned off past 9 pm. The restaurant is nice and the staff friendly and helpful. Tiny town with few services and one store.

Charming bed and breakfast in small town of Prospect. Beautiful gardens around the B and B. So many trails to hike and streams to swim. About 60 minutes to drive to Crater Lake. The food at the dinner house was delightful! I enjoyed reading on the huge porch in the evenings.

Super cute historic spot! We stayed in the motel section which is exactly what you’d expect - nothing fancy but totally fine for a pit stop. The beds weren’t amazing but honestly after a long drive, I wasn’t mad about it. Don’t go in expecting Hilton vibes, but it’s perfect for what it is - a cozy stopover on the way to Crater Lake. The food was actually really good for the price and their breakfast changes daily so you’re not stuck with the same continental spread. Great value if you just need somewhere clean and charming to crash for the night that’s far from a metropolitan area for the city slickers like myself. Would stay again on our next national park road trip. The motel part is dog friendly so it was clutch for my fur baby.

The room was a bit dark but other than that we liked our two nights stay. It was nice to have a small electric stove, pots, pan, bowls, plates, and utensils. It’s roughly an hour from Crater Lake NP. The town that the hotel is located is a nice, friendly little town. And there’s a nice diner right next to the hotel.

If the Crater Lake Lodge is full, there aren't many hotels near the park. The Prospect Historic was one of the nicest based on pictures. We were fortunate that our room was on the top floor that had ac, as the second floor rooms don't have access, so plan on small fans. We were also disappointed that the restaurant was closed the night we arrived, they said due to a power outage the night before. So, we were left with poor fried chicken next door or drive back 30 minutes to the next closes diner. Finally, we were supposed to receive breakfast, but they don't start serving until 8:30 so we missed breakfast to avoid getting to Crater Lake after 10am. Would only recommend if Crater Lake lodge isn't available.
