Preston County Inn

This Monday, I took the bus from Pittsburgh to Kingwood. Then, I stayed at Preston County Inn. The hotel looks excellent. The hotel has the history of Kingwood. The hotel is nearby the bus stop. The room is very clean. I could take the shower in the room. It’s very quiet in the evening. I could sleep very well. I could also watch the TV in my room. I could also cook food with microwave in the lobby. I could also enjoy free breakfast at the hotel. The service was great at the hotel. The price was reasonable for me to stay. This Tuesday, I took the bus from Kingwood to Arthurdale. Then, I came back to Pittsburgh in the evening by bus.

We just had lunch here for the first time. We will definitely be back! Madison is amazing, the food is fresh and delicious, and the atmosphere is serene and gorgeous! Highly recommend!

Lovely place! The food is very good and you won’t leave hungry. They have a huge selection of appetizers, salads, sandwiches, dinners and desserts. They also have beer and a large selection of other alcoholic drinks. The service is very warm and friendly. The rooms and bar area for eating are very charming and provide an intimate and inviting atmosphere. There’s also outdoor seating weather permitting. I’ve never spent the night at the inn and can only speak for the dining experience. Which is a must visit!

My family and I come to Preston County once or twice a year to visit relatives, enjoy the scenery and some good country cooking. The location of the Inn is great but I was sorely disappointed in the quality and cleanliness of the room as well the Inn itself. We arrived shortly before 8pm on the night of our stay: the door to the Inn was unlocked and we did not see anyone on staff. The key to our room was on the front desk with our name and room number next to it on a scrap piece of paper- anyone could have walked by and saw that information- if I didn't feel comfortable in Kingwood, it would have been a big safety concern for me. The foyer and lower level smelled horribly of pet urine, nearly causing me to gag. We almost left but decided to go up to our room to see if it was any better.

Absolutely delightful owners and people that work there. The rooms were nice and clean, the bathrooms were also very clean. It's an old hotel but it's quite nice and inviting. We had a drink there and the owner prepared us something good we don't know what it was but it was delicious. Then we had a fabulous dinner, the food was outstanding and please order the french fries they are so good! We really liked staying there!
