Prairie Rose Inn

I came for work it was just what I needed quite and clean ( for a country motel ) not much to look at outside but warm and comfortable inside. The manager was very friendly and took good care of my room

Very nice clean and unique experience. The rooms having different themes which is a very nice change from the normal hotel/motel. The bar and grill is a very nice environment to unwind and have a drink and something to eat. The breakfast option is also very good. Room layout is a little different as the one we stayed in there is no TV where the bed is, only in the sitting room. Also was never able to get connected to the WIFI. But, would definitely recommend!!

The rooms are very dirty! Carpet is majorly stained, mold on the bathroom ceiling, bathroom floor was sticky, mini fridge was sitting on the desk with a lamp on top of the fridge. Drawers are missing on the dresser. I don’t think they have put any money into this place in years!! Don’t waste your time calling them unless you need a last minute place like we did.

The hotel is very run down, with marks on the walls, and stained sheets and towels. I would not recommend staying here unless you are desperate for a hotel, and even then, make sure you keep your shoes on in the hotel room. The hotel is over 33 years old and nothing seems to have been updated in that time, based on pictures in the lobby. Even the bedspreads are still the same. Maybe even the air - it smells like curry or Ramen.

We found this sweet little inn through Harvest Host on our trip from VA to CO over Thanksgiving. Literally right off the freeway, but don’t let the location fool you. Once inside you are wrapped in down-home hospitality. Every member of the staff made us feel welcome. The place is made up of a hotel, restaurant and cafe, so a little something for everyone. And rumor has it, an RV park is in the works. Our first grandbaby is a Rose so we couldn’t get enough of all the swag. We loved the place so much we stayed again on our return trip home 🌹
