Prairie Ridge Lodge

Couldn’t ask for better accommodations. The rooms are huge, clean, and comfortable. Better yet, the owners are incredibly thoughtful hosts - complimentary coffee station with a plethora of snacks, plus a stocked fridge and pantry area with items for purchase on the honor system. Both the indoor and outdoor game cleaning stations were clean. Perfect spot for our Daddy/Daughter fishing trip! Thank you!

The owner was very helpful in getting us in on short notice on a Sunday. He was very polite and went overboard to make sure we had everything we needed which was great. They have a lobby with couches and tables and a grill area for use and that was really nice for cooking and watching football. Blackstone griddle, gas grills, charcoal grills, utensils, seasonings, fire pit, etc. They also have food for sale in a fridge and freezer and tons of coffee/drinks/snacks. I was very impressed with what all they had for us to use if we wanted. Our room had a full kitchen with all the silverware and dishes you need as well. They have a nice cleaning station for fish or game too. This is a great place to stay in a very small/quiet town.

Recently stayed here at the lodge with a couple of friends for an ice fishing trip! The lodge was very nice the owners were very friendly and accommodating. The beds and linens were nice and cleaned. The had a near honor system for food and drinks. Full kitchen and utensils for cooking . Plenty of room in the rooms. Cable and smart tv

Aaron and his family are absolutely top-notch. I do not write reviews but I Was so impressed with their lodge I wanted to make sure that people understand this is a very very nice establishment. As a Commercial Outfitter 8 months out of the year I travel from here to Texas, Arkansas and all the way back north I’ve Stayed at many different places over the past 24 years and I’ll be honest this one’s my favorite great Family Aarons mother keeps Prairie Ridge immaculate I am a very straightforward person and I will suggest this lodge to anyone. I was not asked to write this review. I highly recommend you stop on by the next time you’re coming through Garden City, SD and see the Best lodge in Eastern, South Dakota Thank you guys! Great place to stay. Nice clean rooms, kitchenette. There is a common area also. Quiet. There are no services in Garden City. No food or fuel available, so plan accordingly.
