We went with the kids looking for some fun winter activities, and it turned out to be such a great experience! We’re definitely not professionals, so at first we felt a little overwhelmed. But one of the managers, Robbie, showed us around and made us feel so comfortable and welcome. The kids absolutely loved the “snow play” area and had the best time. After that, we all went tubing together as a family — so much fun and lots of laughs! It was a wonderful family day, and we can’t wait to come back again!
We went tubing this morning for 11am slot. Initial line for the carpet was long but it moved fast. There were a lot of people, the staff did a great job managing what they could. We were able to go down 8 or 9 times in our slot, worth the money and the small wait for good family fun. Food inside was decent priced, very chaotic in Cafe but it's so family focused and everyone watched out for each other. Thank you so much Powder Ridge team!!!
We live locally and this is a great place for kids and beginners as it is a small mountain. That being said there are issues. My husband and I both have our own gear, but purchased rentals online ahead of time for our children. This does not help you as you still stand in the same line as those who need 2 purchase rentals. That line was over 2HOURS long!!! N sadly this was not a one time thing we waited 2 hours the last time we came as well. They need a new system. Set up a time system and only sell as many as they can handle for that hour slot. Tip: if you are renting and purchase 4 hour lift tickets wait until after u get ur rental to get ur lift ticket or u will only have about an hour actually left by the time u get ur rentals. The kids ticket also only goes up to age 5 after that you
Immense fun for the entire family. Great location; you don't have to drive miles upon miles going uphill. Easily done in a family sedan since the road is paved. Some large resorts have gravel roads to this day. Great main cabin and restaurant. The bar is opened and accessible.
Disappointing experience; do not waste your money on Tubing! My friends and I paid $50 each to go tubing hoping it would be a great experience however it was the opposite. I expected it to be busy in a Saturday; but the line to go tubing was roughly 20 minutes each time to get to the top only allowing us to go down 3 times in our time slot. Staff was not giving direction nor helping with the flow of the crowd. At the top there were 4-6 employees throwing snowballs back and forth with one another instead of signaling when it was safe to go! I wish I had read the other reviews which highlight many of the things I listed above because I would not have booked a trip there!
