Pout & Trout

I always enjoy visiting this campground! My cousin stays here seasonally, and it’s such a great spot. The pool is clean and perfect for relaxing on warm days, and the scenic views around the campground make it feel like a peaceful getaway. There’s even a convenient country store on site, which is super handy for little things you might need. Best of all, it’s a quiet, relaxing place to stay and perfect if you’re looking to unwind and enjoy nature. Definitely recommend checking it out!

Pout and Trout was a wonderful experience. I brought my great grandson there to give him a camping experience and was not disappointed. The grounds and facilities were clean and well maintained. Parker said the pool was 'perfect'. The families and children welcomed us and looked after us, yes, looked after us. Knowing we were new to the campground they made sure we were invited to the activities and even offered us bug spray in case we forgot. Honestly, my great grandson played with the kids every minute he was there and has made me promise to bring him back. My family is planning more trips to this beautiful, peaceful campground. :)

"Rooms"=sites. Sites are fairly large, level, decent privacy. Lots of shade if you want it, or open lots/sun if you want it. Roads are primitive/not paved, so you have to go slow/be careful. Not all loops have a bath house or laundromat. Activities are OK; some are kind of new/different. Yet they're missing some campground favorites, such as a Camp Olympics or site decorating contests/themed holidays. Camp store is pretty good. Pool is nice & clean. You're in a good spot between Worcester & Leominster to be able to hit local attractions/events. Price is good; can camp for a night or a season.

Took a chance and jumped right into a seasonal site. I could not be happier!! After being seasonal at a few places over the years this has been by far the friendliest and safest we've experience. Our long term neighbors made sure we felt comfortable and welcomed,along with many others. Nothing makes you feel like "home" when you get 15 waves of hello when you are coming or going.

I stayed at Pout and Trout last week during my thru hike of the Midstate Trail. It was such a relief to get a hot shower and be able to fully charge all of my electronics with an outlet right by my tent. The staff were super helpful too, and flexible about my arrival time which is really important when you're on foot! Highly recommend to hikers.
