Possum Trot Lodging

Our family had an amazing long weekend at Possum Trot. We were there to celebrate two milestone birthdays and Judith went above and beyond to ensure the trip was memorable. The accommodations exceeded our expectations, even better than the pictures. We thoroughly enjoyed both properties and spent a lot of time together in the lodge in front of the fireplace but also had plenty of room to spread out when we wanted. The décor is lovely and the personal touches are so interesting I could have spent hours taking it all in. We enjoyed Possum Trot for lodging and hosting the rehearsal dinner for our son's wedding. I can't say enough about the charm and all of the thoughtful, carefully curated detail that went into making this event magical. Judith's talent, artistry, and warmth were a very large part of what made everything feel so memorable. We felt like family.

Possum Trot was the perfect location for our family to gather for a wedding weekend. We hosted a rehearsal dinner at the lodge for over 50 people and it was fabulous. Judith went out of her way to make sure we all were comfortable and had everything we needed. The lovely farmhouse and lodge have comfortable beds and many cozy areas to relax. There were so many added touches to the houses to make us feel right at home. The grounds are perfectly maintained and surrounded by magnificent trees to provide a private tranquil oasis.

We stayed at possum trot with our large group of friends during our wedding weekend and it was the perfect location since it was 8 minutes away from our wedding venue. We hosted our welcome party here because of the large lawn space as well as the covered back porch and huge tables inside! It was a hit and the staff were very friendly and helpful! The only thing I would note is that this property is located in the country so come prepared with all the food/snacks/drinks that you want during your stay because the nearest grocery store is a bit of a hike away. Overall great experience and if you’re looking for a quite peaceful getaway in the country this is your spot!

I can’t begin to share how amazing and wonderful Possum Trot is! We have booked both the lodge and farmhouse four or five times now and are completely in love with the location, the house, and the overall experience. I can’t think of a single event that it wouldn’t be perfect for! I work at a church and we’ve hosted women’s retreats and youth events there. The location is gorgeous and lodge is perfect! My 22 year old daughter plans to have her rehearsal dinner there when she gets married. The large space is somehow warm and inviting yet beautifully elegant and elevated all at the same time. The property manager Judith is one of the kindest and most accommodating people I’ve ever dealt with. She bends over backwards to make sure our experience is wonderful every single time we stay.
