Ponil Camp Grounds

Marie, the campground host, was very kind and generous. Hot showers, game room, and gift shop. We've been traveling on faith and I was very grateful and pleased to have found this place! If I am ever back this way I'll definitely be visiting Ponil Campground again!

We stayed here in the way to Taos. The Campground is nice enough although the layout is a little odd in some sites. They are front to back which makes hooking up utilities a little difficult. ||||The price was very reasonable. ||||The first site they assigned to us was not suitable for our 40' motorhome and we asked to move to another vacant site. Instead of just moving us, they got attitude and told us the site was perfectly fine and that another large motorhome had been in the site the night before. We stood our ground and politely and firmly asked to be moved. They relented and moved us, but their attitude left a sour taste in our mouth. We were their guests and there plenty of empty sites.

This is a nice space to camp or bring your RV. It is kept very clean and well maintained. The washers and dryers are $1.25 and there are water spigots and an outlet in the camping section. They have a nice game room, very clean bathrooms, and a dog run. The prices are very affordable. Staff is very attentive and helpful too.

The campground was a wonderful experience for me. It is on the small side and a few of the spaces are tight. But most are reasonable. Mine was an awesome spot. The owners and camp host were absolutely wonderful. Very friendly and helpful. The price was reasonable too. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place to anyone. It came highly recommended to me before I even got here. The bathrooms are clean. The water pressure was strong and the temperature will get hot if you want it. The game room had a great variety of games from foos ball to air hockey and the vending machine worked as desired. And the wifi was pretty good too.

Everyone was very nice, the bathrooms were clean, and there are great big shade trees.
