Pond and Perch

We cannot recommend Pond & Perch enough! The property, the view, and the sound of nature was amazing. We visited during the winter season and it was still beautiful. We can only imagine the scenery during the warmer months. We’re so grateful it was dog friendly, too! Our dog loved having so much space to roam. If you’re looking for a quiet weekend away with your family and pup, then this is the place! You don’t even need to leave the house! There’s so much to do — swim, hang by the fire, play games inside and out (all provided by the owners). It truly felt like home away from home.

The most perfect dog friendly rental we’ve ever been too. The house is fully stocked with everything you need. Anna was very responsive and helpful, she made sure we were comfortable and safe by having the driveway plowed after it snowed. The property was so beautiful in the snow and we had so much fun using the provided sleds on the hill. My dog had an amazing time exploring, I’ve never been to a rental that had so much open space for dogs to enjoy off leash. I fear nothing will top Pond and Perch, I hope we can return in the warmer months!

Wow. We have stayed at many dog friendly rentals, but P&P takes the cake. The house is amazingly warm and inviting…and clean! Nothing gives the ‘cheap rental’ vibe. From the furniture to the silverware, everything is solid and quality. We loved all the games provided as well, and had a planned family Bingo event each night. The outdoors…now THIS is where it’s at (for us, anyway!) As a nature, water and fishing loving family, we couldn’t have found a better property. We brought our ATVs for added fun. My kids had a blast riding around, and we enjoyed the convenience of having them. We visited in early November, and cannot wait to rebook in the summer for river play fun. We have stayed in many pet friendly rentals over the last 5 years, but none of them have truly felt actually pet friendly until this one. Something as small as having towels specifically for the dogs goes a long way with pet owners. The property is beautiful and the home was filled with everything that we could have ever needed for our stay. The home was clean and comfortable (even when the outdoor temperatures were well into the negatives). We really enjoyed our time here and are already planning our next visit. Having so much space to roam with our dogs without worry of other people or pets is amazing. 10/ 10 experience - I really cannot say enough great things about this rental.

Pond and Perch is the greatest vacation home I've ever known!! As a dog person, I need a spot that's good for me AND my pups. This place is heaven for ALL of us!! The walks from the house to the pond or river are magical!! My dogs tear all over the place! And the house is so comfortable!! The beds are GREAT!! SO MANY PLACES TO HANG OUT! The deck!! The fire pit!! Plenty of room for everyone. And again, we are so grateful that it's such a dog friendly place. The hosts have thought of everything to make a great stay for us and our puppers. This is our home away from home!
