Point of Rocks Motel & RV Park

Amazing site. So pretty with the grove of trees, clean bathrooms (not vault toilets!!!) full water, sewer & electrical hookup. Site was clean & very well maintained. Plenty of property to roam with dogs & kids. Kind owners & great price for all you get. Came in for Potter Days, which was fun. The townspeople are so genuine!!!

Camp here. Noise because of the near by train track and long trains going by day and night. Bathroom fair. Hostess very nice and accommodating. There is about 24 sites and the cost of $30 dollars for full hook up is great. But be ready for the trains.

They epitomize Nebraska nice. They are extremely kind and helpful people. The motel is well maintained and clean. I stayed in a room with no satellite/cable TV, which was a little cheaper. The full hook-up campground is easy to navigate and very well maintained as well. There is a restroom but I did not use it while camping. Update: I've stayed at this campground in the past. It is a very well maintained campground in a quiet country setting. It's just a few miles east of the Potter exit off of Interstate 80. Although it is close to the interstate, it is far enough away that it's not impacted by the noise from the racing cars and trucks on the highway. We had an overnight stay on our way to Colorado. Has full hook-ups and pretty big spots. It's actually really beautiful here and quiet. My only issue was the train constantly running throughout the day and night and it shakes the RV. I understand that can't be helped, but other than that it's a great place to stay. The owner is soo friendly and kind, thank you so much for letting us stay in your RV park.

I am very confused as to why and how the motel rooms at this place have such a tiny presence in the reviews and online. I travel around by car in rural areas just seeing sights every six months. I plan my trips around small, rural motels. It's a weird hobby, I know, but places like this are what feed my love of travel. This motel was STUNNING! Not only was it (by far) the most affordable place in several trips it was also my top three favorite places I've stayed in seven years of rural motels. The owner was gracious (and Peewee the puppy was ADORABLE). The room was EXACTLY what I would hope for (extraordinarily clean, SAFE and had a fridge, microwave).
