Plaza Beach Hotel - Beachfront Resort

We came to St. Pete Beach on a last minute decision and wanted something directly on the beach. The rooms were very dated, think late 90s or early 00's without much upgrades. The bathtub tile had cracks, the bath sink was small with little counter space. We stayed in the deluxe suite, since that was the only thing available. However, everything else about this place was really great. It was right on the beach with private chairs and cabanas for rental. They had a bar next to the pool. The manager happy hour was great with a new keg each night. It was easy to get to know others staying at the hotel as it was well attended. During the time we went it was mostly older retired folks staying there. They had a ping pong table, mini golf, foosball, and other entertainment there on site.

This was my first time on the Gulf side of Florida and in St. Pete's Beach. I decided to stay in this area because I wanted to take day trips and this was the perfect location. Liam and Tanner at the front desk or so kind and helpful. They were great to talk to and extremely friendly! The hotel itself was nice, and my room was very spacious. It even had a old-fashioned fridge and couches in front of the TV that were movie styled. It was a very fun, happy, vibe that was 50s retro inspired.If only the weather was warmer during my visit, I felt like I really could've maximized my time at the hotel. They really made great use of their space with Life-size games, mini golf, and not to mention the beach was just steps away. I will definitely have to come back when the weather is warmer!!

Easy process for checking in and answers of any kind. Phone call to confirm prior to arrival was a nice touch with updated text messages for important information during my stay. Option of early arrival is a plus also. Cute, clean, spacious room (suite/kitchen area too) with plenty of area to spread out if you have extra people staying with you. All the dishes and appliances you could need. An assortment of pillows if you need softer or firmer and the bed was perfect for me. I stayed a Friday to Sunday, and it seemed quiet and non-disruptive for my early to bed and early to rise schedule. I was in town briefly for a weekend conference and had very little time to do any sightseeing or playing, but I did get a couple quick walks on the beach in the morning before 8 am. The beach

I have been here since November and it is now January. I love all the staff they are amazing the property is clean and the access to the beach is great. Aaron has helped me tremendously with all my needs he’s amazing. Tanner has accommodated me with everything I could need. Cherish her bubbly personality always puts me in an excellent mood. There is another woman with red hair she always helps me at night at the front when I need something I can’t remember her name. I would give this place a 10/10 any time they don’t treat you like guests here they treat you like family. I have really been enjoying my stay and I would recommended them to anyone. Service really matters to me and they have the best staff I have stayed at Hiltons, Embassy Suites, Resorts and this has by far been the best serv

Positive: Location was excellent. Basically, it was an apartment. Negative: Bathroom was very small. Could have used a toaster oven.
