Plantation Inn

Room 14 was clean, crisp linens, simple furnishings, updated bathroom area. Could see how room might be noisy during busy times. Take earplugs, go to sleep, get up early and have your vengeance. Great location for exploring the area and for walking the Main Street and creekside. Restaurant service was far above average. Lukas our server brought a few guide books for us to peruse and offered hiking recommendations in addition to providing great table service. Steak was delicious and a good value. A nice experience to visit a unique Oklahoma spot and the beautiful Wichita mountains.

Tv had lines through it and it was about as big as a laptop screen. Pillows very thin and small. Shower was Luke warm. The rooms would have been considered dated 20 years ago. This place is in dire need of an update. Showed up 19 minutes early for check-in and the girl told us to come back in 19 minutes. We came back in 13 minutes only to find them checking someone else in six minutes ahead of time Location is great and we were able to park right outside the room. It was a short walk to everything in town. If we’re ever back, we’ll probably stay at the bird houses. Won’t be back to the plantation Inn. On a positive note, at the plantation restaurant, we had a very good meal. Steaks cooked to perfection.

I would love to give this inn a 5 rating but I cannot.|The room was perfect for the overnight stay that I needed BUT I literally spend over 5 hours (more like 6) trying to contact the owner so that I could get in the room. She admitted that she missed my reservation, and she offered me the room gratis/no charge ... all good ... BUT, guess what was on my credit card bill ... yep the room charge...||Back story: |I stayed over Thanksgiving night. Because it was a holiday and last minute scheduling, I checked everything to make sure that there wouldn't be any problems. I scheduled and got a room confirmation ... printed the confirmation. Check-in was at 3p. The key was at the restaurant down the road: not problem bc I checked the restaurant website and there was NO indication that they were c

The room was clean, loved the nees clippings from past events in the town hanging on the wall. We stayed for two nights. First night was perfect, no one was there, it was Thanksgiving night. The second night, we had neighbors and the walls were a little thin. One set was banging around on the walls till about midnight. But overall loved the Inn. I would suggest putting a small cabinet or dresser in the rooms for more counter space but not having it won't keep us from staying again.

Worst experience I e ever had in a hotel! They refuse to give me blankets the hostess said THE KWNER SAID THEY DISNT HAVE ANY. which was a lie! I’d stay in Lawton big your looking for a place especially if you’ve had a stressful day. Good luck getting in your room. Straight BS. And the proprietors do not return your call even 2 hours later. Maybe they have to much money and don’t really care about there customer.
