Piute Campground

Great stopover spot in route to the warmer climates of southern Utah during mid October. Tons of dispersed camping spots shared with only two other RVs. Super quiet. The camp fee is $8/night (cash or check only) with a limit of two nights. We stayed only one night and paid $10 since we didn't have change. Well worth the extra. It helps that we're self contained, since the pit toilets were locked up tight this time of year. Beautiful scenery surrounds and awaits!

Visited in July 2025. Not crowded and enough space to get some privacy without being too far from the toilets. Toilets were really clean with enough toilet paper. We were able to park our car under some trees in the shade and there were more similar options left unoccupied. It was nice and quiet. We paid $8 for one night.

Good quiet, safe spot next to a lake for eight dollars a night. Vaulted toilets include paper and are OK. The road and the campground are easily accessible to pulling a trailer. Might not be the best spot for an a class or fifth wheel. Easy walk to the lake.

Very nice and peaceful barely anyone and great views for the average person that likes being with out all the bells and whistles its great but then again I have solar so I don't need to plug in for the people who need all that this ain't for you

A gorgeous oasis for tired travelers! From the crystal blue reservoir waters to the peaceful flock of sheep grazing nearby, huge fire pits and shade to park in, this little gem is well worth a visit.
