Pitkin Hotel

After watching the Pitkin Hotel undergo a two-year renovation, finally staying there felt incredibly special, and it exceeded expectations. The restoration honors the hotel’s early-1900s Victorian character while seamlessly incorporating modern comforts. Our stay in the Roosevelt Suite was a highlight; it felt both luxurious and thoughtfully curated. From the furnishings to the décor and lighting, the attention to detail was exceptional. The result is a warm, elegant space that feels timeless without sacrificing comfort. An outstanding restoration, well done!

Historic Renovation completed in 2024 by new owners created a beautiful boutique hotel and restaurant and bar in the heart of Pitkin. We have stayed there 3 times over the last year, stayed in a different room each time and thoroughly enjoyed each stay and love the uniqueness of each room. The BonTon restaurant and bar downstairs is 5 star. Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. The staff is awesome. From the time you check in and get escorted to your room and experience all the hotel has to offer you will be on a first name basis with all the staff from housekeeping to the incredible bar staff starring Jelly(J Kelly not Jelly roll ;)|They added the 1904 outside venue this summer featuring gourmet pizzas and live music every Saturday night and special occasions. |We love it!

This place is fantastic, great atmosphere, great service and great food! I’ve been here quite a few times in the last year and it has become one of my favorite spots to visit year round. If you haven’t been you’re missing out!

What a very pleasant surprise to find this gem. New owners Pam and Bob were very welcoming and shared the major renovations they did to bring the old hotel back to life. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The rooms were all very well set up with everything we could want and very comfortable beds. The restaurant serves some of the best food in the area (and that include Crested Butte too!). The bar manager, Jelly, makes his own custom smoked old fashioned that is a must. We highly recommend and will be back again.

Our room was wonderful! There was thought and intention behind every decoration and everything was extremely clean. The food at the restaurant was INCREDIBLE. Lots of flavor and the filet I ordered was so tender I used a butter knife to cut it. Jelly and the other gentleman were unbelievable servers and were so friendly which just added to the great experience! 10/10 recommend!
