Pipi Campground

The place is nice. There is a walking trail by the river which is nice. Bathrooms are definitely not flush. It outhouse and nasty. The camp host was so lazy. He never checked the camp sites and people would leave a chair there but never comes back for a few days and when people come, they're not sure if the site was occupied or not. Some camp site are reserved but no signs and you will not know that it's been reserved until the person who reserved it comes and tells you to move. The camp host has a sign says not available. They are the laziest camp hosts. There were some fish but don't bite.

Such a great campground. Camp host was friendly and bathrooms were clean. ||Fish were small but plentiful and swimming was fantastic.

This campground has been one I’ve enjoyed since I was little and living in Grizzly Flats. The beginning of the summer (2025) the road was HORRIBLE!!! Full of huge potholes. I’m so amazed I didn’t get a popped tire. There is no cell service at the campground. The host has a WiFi that if you are nice it seems she will share the code. Watch out for the wooden posts that are placed in bad places. I ran into one and it tore my front bumper off my Tahoe. I still can’t figure out why that small post was there - but it was the height just right to cause damage. I still like the campground and it’s great. There are no bear boxes but there are bears. So please use caution. Also watch the cows on the road in and out.

Pipi Campground is one of the best campgrounds I have ever visited. The campsites are spacious, and the nearby river is shallow enough for kids to swim safely, which makes it worry-free for parents. There is a deeper area of the river where adults can swim as well. The route to get there is one of the most scenic I've encountered. There's so much to share about this place, but I will keep it brief. The campground manager is very friendly and helpful, which adds to the overall positive experience.

Pipi is my go to camping spot! The hosts are always so nice and accommodating. There are water spigots littered around the campground along with bathrooms. No electricity or showers but if you get solar lights, rechargeable shower pump, and a 5 gallon bucket you'll be fine! There is wifi if your close to the hosts campsite but its not very strong. Its there for you to pay for your campsite not really for full wifi capabilities so be prepared to let nature entertain you! There's a paved path thats goes along the river which is also handicap accessible. The path is for walking only so no bikes, skates, or skateboards. I highly recommend Pipi campground!!
