Pioneer Mountain Lodge

I cannot say enough good things about the Pioneer Mountain lodge. It far exceeded expectations, and we were so very glad we decided to stay here. The owners, Natalie and Kenny, were fantastic and they were so lovely to us. Our rooms were spotless and so comfortable, and we all wished that we had more than one night to spend there. Highly recommend! (and the Mexican food next door was amazing)

We were so pleased with our stay at the Pioneer Mountain Lodge. Our rooms were spotlessly clean, quiet, and very comfortable. The owners, Kenny and Natalie, were fabulous, and I highly recommend a stay here.

Reserved room being remodeled at Pioneer Lodge for 3 nights. Owners friendly and helpful while indicating some features would not be ready during our stay. Tried to check in at 5:45PM but plumber was working on hot water system. Returned at 8:30PM, told room was "ready" but no key available until next day. Room had 2 king sized beds but no table or chairs, no shelf or stand in the shower for soap/shampoo, and boxes of siding being stored along one wall. Problems included never being issued a key, and only having occasional access to hot water. Lack of key required visiting the office every time we returned and asking owners to allow us entry into our room which they unlocked via a door connected to their living room. Not having a key to a room for which we were paying $215/night was not on

I stayed for one night back on July 11, 2022. I arrived late, and it was a blessing. I arrived on a bicycle on my trip across the states. I spoke to the owners about life, faith and death, and how they didn't care for Californians, but thought I was ok. I refer to this day a lot. First, I love a small business. Room was clean and everything I needed. Thanks for the brief memories.

An impeccably clean and comfy stay in a tiny town we hadn't planned on staying in. We're so glad we did, though! Natalie was a wonderful host and her hard work certainly shows. The room included a kitchen and was super quiet. The bed was comfortable, too. We highly recommend Pioneer Mountain Lodge to anyone who needs to stay a night or two in this out-of-the-way Montana town.
