Pioneer Motel

We stayed at the Pioneer for a few days and had a good experience. The rooms were VERY clean and comfortable, the location was easy to get to, and was close to Walmart and a few restaurants. The office staff was personable and accommodating.

Friendly and helpful staff. Remodeled, modern, spacious, and very clean. Kitchen is stocked with everything basic. Nice comfortable bed with cozy bedding. This suite is nicer than any hotel in the Huntington area. Will definitely stay here again for my next visit.

Currently still in motel no one in office called because bathroom light blew said she has no one to come change it so I guess I have to shower 2 mornings in a row in the dark customer service is a joke I guess I should have known we are the only ones in the motel and over priced said newly remolded using 70s decor and missing the headboard on one bed and beds 2 different heights

Very nice room! Affordable. Clean. Good food at restaurant, highly recommend rodeo burger!! Amazing!! The room didn’t have a coffee pot, luckily I had mine from home. Fantastic place for the weekend! The people are great to go through for the rooms, very honest little town. Our stuff was safe. All around a great place to be!!

The owners of pioneer motel are super nice! They made it a point to stop and talk to us made sure everything was okay I give the rooms of four star rating only because the ones that we stayed in are little dated. However, they were super clean! Didn't have an issue with anything in relation to the hotel. They did have a guest below us who love to wake and bake and it would waft into our rooms every morning and every night when we were there! We went to LJ's and it was pretty good too! When visiting lavallette again we will probably stay in Wayne rather than go all the way to Huntington.
